Harry Potter Haven RPG Rules

When you first join the boards you are in the 'Muggle' group. The only boards available are the Introductory boards. Follow these three main steps to activate your account:

1. Go to the 'Welcome' board and follow through the posts in order.
2. The 'Introduce Your Character' board will become available where you should post your character profile. After posting a moderator will sort your character. You may continue role-playing before your sorting has occurred.
3. Post your character's school preparations and Hogwarts journey in the 'Getting to Hogwarts' board.

These boards must be visited in the order above. The boards in steps two and three are only visible once you have completed the previous step(s).

You may continue through the activation process while waiting for your character to be sorted. This can take up to 24 hours.

The following boards have restricted access:

• Daily Prophet
To contribute an article please PM Admin.
• Introduce Yourself
Once your profile is posted you are not able to edit your profile. PM Admin to make changes.
• Commonrooms
The commonrooms are visible to everyone, and can be read by all members. However, only members of that House may post there.
• Staffroom
Only staff members may post here.
• Classrooms
New topics can only be started by the subject's Professor.
• Ministry of Magic
Character's must enter through the 'Phonebooth' board and request an NPC to RP with them. A request should also be sent to Admin to get permission to post in the Ministry forums.
• Other places
Contact Admin for posting permissions (refer to this thread)
• Special Events
  Threads can only be started by event organisers.

If you cannot post in a board that isn't on this list, please post in the 'I Need Help!!' board or submit a support ticket.
