Each account can have one associated character. Once you have chosen a name for your character it cannot be changed.
Character names
The following restrictions apply to character names:
- canon characters (characters from the Harry Potter series) and their relations or descendents are not allowed
- names from other books, films, games etc are not allowed
Animagi
Animagi are wizards who can transform at will into an animal.
Animagus registration is governed by the Character Abilities guidelines.
Character types
All new characters must be 1st year human Hogwarts students. Staff applications are announced when new staff members are required. The following character types are not allowed at HPHavenRPG:
- centaurs
- pixies
- elves
- vampires
- half human, half animal characters
- other non-human characters
If you have any questions about a particular character type, please submit a support ticket.
Birthdays
It is each member's responsibility to
inform Admin when your character's birthday has passed so that your character's age can be updated.
