He hoped that he didn't make him feel uncomfortable by calling him one of his best friends. If someone called him it, he'd feel flattered, if not honored, but he sometimes forgot that not everyone was like him. In most cases he wouldn't have said it, but with Delvino he just felt comfortable enough to speak his mind, after all, he did think of him as a close friend, even if they'd just met.
