House

So this is Hogwarts, Conrad thought to himself. "Well, it's Gryffindor or bust from this point forward, and hopefully the Sorting hat will be kind to me."
Please list your character's three personal desires:
1. To acquire as much knowledge as possible, and by any means necessary, whether by reading books, or taking extra lessons from his teachers. All while gaining many friends along the way.
2.To become an amazing wizard, he could be an Auror, a Professor, a writer, or even a master duelist. The boy is extremely undecided, but his lust for power pulls him in many directions.
3. As he approaches Hogwarts, he's been wishing and praying to get into Gryffindor. None of the other houses appeal to him, mainly because from the books he's read, Gryffindor seems to have the nicest people out of all the houses. His father was in Gryffindor, and Conrad desires to be as great as his father, so getting placed into the right house should help him. He's also heard about the tales of wonderful wizards that are alumni of that house. On top of all of those things, his father told him that the one house he would do best in,  would be Gryffindor. He said that it would bring him companionship, chivalry, and all the things that Conrad thinks he needs to be a great wizard.

What is your character's main weakness?
Conrad's most obvious flaw, is his need for companionship. He seeks friends, mainly because he had very few of them during his early years of childhood. The reason behind that, is that he never really fit in anywhere, but hopefully once he get's to Hogwarts (hopefully Gryffindor), that will all change. He is a chivalrous person, and has a very strong moral compass, which is one of the reasons why he loses friends that aren't as loyal and kind as he is. Conrad might be a tab bit too trusting to potential friends, and always hopes for the best out of people, but finds disappointment in them more than he would like.

What is your character's main strength?
His main strength (which is also one of his greatest weaknesses.) is his everlasting quest for knowledge, and his aptitude for learning new things. Conrad has always been a amazing student- And some of his tutors have said he was a "Prodigy with unlimited potential." This potential can take him far, but the thing that troubled his teachers the most, is how would the boy use it. For better, or for worse?

You have been sorted into Gryffindor.

Description:
Conrad has blond hair, a gene inherited from his German father, and hazel eyes given to him by his French mother. His voice is surprisingly deeper than most boys his age, but not so much that it makes him stand out. At a very young age he received training in the art of fencing, and the training from that gives him a athletic and lean look. Conrad is very tall for his age, and tends to hover over his friends at a shocking 5'7". He usually wears a variety of clothes, but tends to go for the more scholarly approach. He sports a casual and striped button-down shirt, and either jeans or chinos. The boy has a jacket that is very dear to him, it was a gift from his grandfather before he passed away. It's an old aviator's jacket, with a wool collar, and made out of brown leather. Conrad wears it on a day-to-day basis, but if it's warm outside, he prefers to leave it at home.

Personality:
From a very young age, Conrad has always been more mature for his age. In fact, his father always said he had the body of a young man, but the soul of an old one. He's extremely wise for his age, and unlike most children he knows, he thinks thoroughly before he says or does anything. This enables him to be very caring and empathetic for others, it also helps him to avoid trouble. He's always willing to help someone out, no matter if they're a stranger or a close friend. He's open to people he doesn't know, and might be a little too trusting of them. Even though he's charismatic and likes to meet new people, he's also cautious of what he says and does, for everyone is not always what they seem to be.

Family background:
Conrad was born to a world-renowned duelist father, known in bot worlds, wizard and muggle alike. In the world of wizardry, his skills lie in the art of dueling, and in the regular world, he is a famous fencer. His mother on the other hand, was a simple girl from the small village of Gascony, who met his father during a trip to Paris. Unfortunately, she passed away when the boy was three, as she suffered from a severe case of Acute Leukemia, leaving him without a maternal figure for the rest of his life. After the death of his mother, his father moved him from their home in France, to a mansion in Germany, where he spent all of his years until enrolling in Hogwarts. There he learned the basics of magic, and also decided to follow in his father's footsteps, and take of the art of fencing. Excelling in both, his father took him on a trip to Paris for his birthday, and toured the ancient city, stopping in every shop his mother had loved. After that excursion, the father and son bonded greatly, which helped both of them cope with the loss of a wife and a mother. While vacationing in the modern-day city, Conrad discovered a strange love for muggle-music. Especially that of the American Rock 'n' Roll Icon Elvis Presley. So, a few years have passed since then, and the boy is now eleven years old, and traveling to Hogwarts, excited and nervous about his new life.
