First of all, THE EVENT CREW IS AWESOME. You guys do so much work getting all the nominees and gorgeous banners together. We wouldn't be able to recognize these special people without you.
Second, CONGRATS CONGRATS CONGRATS to all the winners and all the nominees! You guys have truly stepped up this year and distinguished yourselves at HPH. While HPH is full of amazing RPers and handlers who all deserve congrats, every year there are always some stand-outs whose characters and threads really make a splash. And so:
Elena: One of the first characters I started to stalk. Elena is a...well, a witch, and she knows it and doesn't apologize for it. She's likeable without being friendly but she's got a bit of a soft side, for Viggo anyway, that gives her depth. Your writing is also AMAZING and sharp and witty.
Cameron: I forget how short a time you've been here, because Cameron started feeling like an oldie the first month he was here. You're the fatest responder ever, you write novels that are still supper smooth and snappy to read, and your plots are detailed and dramatic without being unrealistic.
Peregrin: I LOVE GRIN. She's super sweet and funny and bubbly and unique, but she's not just crazy to be crazy. She has a savviness about her that makes her totally believable. She's also super fun to RP with because you always keep your posts fresh and fun.
Dorian: Who let that guy in here? *dies* <33333333 you all.
Cedro: Darn girl, you're just amazing. Cedro is awesome. He's a total whiny little pretty boy and you don't let him get too soft. As with all your charries, you're uncompromising with their reality. You don't let them change if it's not right for them to change.
Charms 9.2: Sadly was not in this class student-wise, but I read it and it was hysterical. You also get super awesome extra points for being the first prof to ditch the rules, which I totally stole because it was an amazing idea and makes your classes super fun and surprising.
Leo and Az: Miss this! I love how awkward and sweet it is, and how Az is such a little Mr. Angrypants but has this soft spot just for Leo.
Cedro and Ely: Way to make me sad. In a good way. They're so realistic and well-crafted. You really root for them even though you can see it breaking, and they're both such great characters that you really WANT it to work...but you guys don't let them off easy.
Cam and Tabby: Dorian is going to punch you both. But this was adorable and funny. <3
This Is Your Home: HYSTERICAL. One of the most original plot ideas I've seen so far. Sofia is so utterly cutesy and irritating but in a way that makes her fun to read.
Feast: Paaaaaage! Great, great plot idea! It was so dramatic and the whole Investigator thing it started has been a great fund of plot ideas.
You Done....yeah: No one writes duels quite like you guys. It was so intense! But not ridiculous. They were both at their skill level but matched enough to make it interesting.
The Darkness: I'm so excited that you guys still love us as slow as we are. Many more good things in store! Or evil things?
Jedi: So cute and clever! And beautiful. I envy your design skillz.
Applesauce: So about those design skills. Your banners are GORGEOUS. Whether uber simple or abstract or really complicated, they're always beautfiul and perfectly matched to the character.
And third.....THANK YOU to everyone who nominated / voted for me. HPH feels like a second home and it feels so wonderful to know that someone else is getting a little bit of joy out of the work I put into my charries.
