Hi everyone.

Effective immediately we are instituting a change to the way characters are created and what type of characters can be created. Please familiarise yourself with the new guidelines below about character creation.  These guidelines can also be found in the 'rules' section of the HPH wiki.

  • No adult character accounts are allowed to be created without approval.
  • No Muggle character accounts allowed.
  • No character accounts for children under the age of 11 are allowed.
  • All new character accounts must be 11 years old and a first year Hogwarts student.  Meaning...no accounts for students above 11 years old or in a higher class year are to be created without prior approval.
  • And as always... no canon first names, middle names, last names, friend's names, family member names or canon bloodlines are to be used for any character.

If you know a character you are going to create will need special approval to go ahead, please submit your request before creating your account and posting your character's profile.

Lately there has been an increase in the number of adult characters being created at HPH.  It is great to see people are enthusiastic about expanding the HPH world to include wizarding adults, it's important to remember our main focus is on the lives of students at Hogwarts.

There are many members who have role-played their students through all their Hogwarts years and are now ready to embark on their adult lives.  Roles, such as Ministry Workers, St Mungo's staff, Professors and shop keepers will be filled by these graduating students, so there is currently no need for additional adult characters.  Announcements will be posted when these positions do become available.

In addition to the above details, any royalty or characters of a special class need approval via the requests site.  If you put these details in your profile without prior approval, your character profile will not be accepted.
