Please list your character's three personal desires:
1. To be the Head of a powerful wizard family.
2. To find a satisfactory husband.
3. To graduate with full honors.
What is your character's main weakness?
Aria has a purely confrontational personality. She is always quick to defend herself, never pausing to think if the other person is right. It could be a little narcissistic at times. To her, she is always in the right.
What is your character's main strength?
Once she's your friend, she is absolutely loyal. Aria is difficult to get along with because of her naturally angry and sullen attitude, but once through that wall, she would jump in front of an Avada Kedavra for you. She would never backstab you. If she teases you, she does it out of love.
You have been sorted into Slytherin.
Description:
Personality: With dark brown eyes filled with a calculatory desire, Aria always looks the part of a noble. Back straight, chin up, and eyes ahead. She's quick to upset and hard to befriend, unless she sees a use in you. She's beautiful in the same way a rose is. Dangerous, yet with a certain allure. Her dark hair always seems to move with her in a natural wave and one would almost have the desire to touch it, if not for the eyes that it framed.
Family background: As soon as she was born, it was always known that there was a chance she could go wrong in life. Aria was born on a cold October night in a small room in an orphanage in the middle of nowhere. As soon as she was born, Aria's mother rushed off never to be see again. As a young child, she was a reckless recluse. Getting into fights was normal for her. If she so much as sensed a blow to her pride, the poor child who insulted her would be on the floor getting a beating until someone could pull Aria off.
As she got a little older, the fact that she hadn't been adopted yet made Aria into a more silent child. When other kids were running around in the yard together, she would just sit on the front steps and watch. She could never be convinced to play. That was what made her appealing to the Uley family when they came in search of a child when she was 7. A minor noble class of the Wizarding world, Ansley and William Uley needed a child they could use to raise their family out of the gutters and back up to their old glory. Several weeks after the Uley family visited the nameless orphanage, Aria was rushed off and into their clutches.
There in Uley manor, Aria was raised to expect the best and be the best. Competition was second-nature and so was the tendency to crush anyone in her path no matter the means. Ansley did not give her adoptive daughter any chances to make excuses. Any mistakes went punished and any well made choices were rewarded appropriately. In the 4 years before her acceptance to Hogwarts, Aria grew up quickly. As an orphan, she already knew that she would do whatever it takes to survive. The Uleys simply gave her the means to that. Now she's at Hogwarts for the first time and she intends to use it to every advantage.
Abilities
Total points: 9
Good at Quidditch
When it comes to hands on activities, Aria has always caught onto them well. She finds it easier to watch something being done and mimicking in rather then hearing about it and being able to repeat it. With flying, something about how free it makes her feel makes her love it that much more. Although she doesn't realize it herself, Aria's at her best on the Pitch. More carefree and less stress. She's played JQN twice and been on the House teams for two years now as a Beater every time. All that stress? Comes out as anger when she hits that Bludger.
Bad at Theory of Magic
Aria absolutely hates classes that don't involve hands on activities. She finds them boring and barely tries in class, if she goes at all. Most of the time, she goes just because one of her friends might be there. It used to be Luke's favorite class so she would go there to hang out with him, but Aria didn't actually pay attention during that. At least with History of Magic, there's some note taking or something to be done. Theory of Magic is just talking and discussing. Boring and uninteresting for her. Not even debating which would have at least gotten her competitive side out.
